Computational analysis on mechanostructural properties of hydroxyapatite–alumina–titanium nanocomposite

Abstract In this research, Taguchi–grey relational analysis has been applied to mitigate the insufficient assumptions made on optimization of mechanical and structural (mechanostructural) properties synthesized hydroxyapatite (HAp)–alumina–titanium nanocomposite. This nanocomposite already developed studied in previous study. paper employs L9 (3**3) orthogonal array, including displaying factors levels 3, 5, 7 wt % for alumina, 10, 15 titanium, 1100, 1150, 1200 °C sintering temperature. The computational presents predicted mechanostructural grey response as 0.7271, higher than highest shown ninth experimental run. optimal control are analyzed be obtained result elucidates hypothesis that a singular is not enough fabrication biomedical material, disproving assumption literature. Importantly, fabricate high clinical grade HAp–alumina–titanium nanocomposite, titanium most invaluable contributor with contribution 49.11%, followed by alumina (45.52%), then temperature (3.2%). Although confidence level probability distribution show all responses were within 95% level, employment strongly recommended experimentation.
